Our guest speaker will share expert information on how diverse groups in the Tech industry are moving DEI from talking points into policy that benefits people and the bottom line. As we round out this 2-part session, you will have the opportunity as a future leader to examine a case study where you can make the business case for DEI.

Brett Yokom is an instructor, presenter and workshop facilitator at UC Berkeley Extension. He has been active in the Silicon Valley and San Francisco region for four decades and has experienced firsthand the tremendous and constant growth and change of the technology industry. He combines his start-up knowledge, intercultural experience and communication skills in his work as an educator. More recently, he has begun doctoral research on the experiences of start-up founders in the tech ecosystem, and has increasingly been invited to speak and facilitate events in the Silicon Valley/SF area and beyond
