Description

Join us for the first ever Cards Against Humanity Tournament in the Mid-Ohio Valley. On October 17th, 2017, Jon Corra will host the Inaugural CAH Tournament benefiting Operation Transportation. The cost to enter is $23.00. We will have up to 50 players. Half the money raised will be presented to the winner of the tournament. This means that the winner will receive up to $500! The rest of the money raised will go to Operation Transportation.

Operation Transportation provides Free bus passes to Veterans in the MOV. Since January 2017 this program has purchased more than 200 bus passes for local Veterans and they have been used more than 5000 times.

Rules:

There will be three rounds total. Each round will last about an hour.

One major difference between the standard way the game is played and the way the tournament works involves the Card Czar. The Card Czar will be one person not participating in the tournament acting as a dealer. You will be provided a bio of each dealer prior to the tournament so that you may better know them and adjust your game accordingly.

While this may seem like a big deviation from the standard game, it will make tournament play more fair. Everyone will have the same opportunity to reach 10 cards.

Round One: Standard Deck. 5 Tables of 10 players. First player to reach 10 cards wins the round. Top 6 Players advance to round 2.

Round Two: Expanded deck. 3 Tables of 10. Top 3 players advance plus one wild card player will advance.

Championship round. 10 players will advance to the final round. The first player to reach 10 cards wins.
