The Secure Payments Partnership latest white paper, Are We Being Well Served?: EMVCo’s Role in Setting U.S. Payment Standards, is the result of an in-depth examination of each of the major areas for which EMVCo is responsible for defining standards, including chip-based credit and debit cards, tokenization of payment data, near-field communication for cards and mobile-device payments, and both the Three-Domain Secure and Secure Remote Commerce standards for online card payments.
