About the instructor:
Jennifer Bromme has been wrenching on motorcycles since 1988, when her beloved Yamaha XT500 that she took all over Europe kept braking down. After two years of trial and error she decided to do a proper apprenticeship at a large Honda/Yamaha dealership in Munich. After working for both a Yamaha dealership and a vintage restoration shop, she came to San Francisco, and after an 8 month stint at Scuderia West decided to open Werkstatt Motorcycles in 1994. She raced both three-wheelers and two wheeled motorcycles (modern and vintage) for over 10 years. From 1994 to 2015, Werkstatt Motorcycles was a beloved staple in the motorcycle community and a go-to place for advice, solid repairs and everything motorcycle-related. In 2015, Jennifer decided to close Werkstatt to have more time for her kids and to start teaching motorcyclists how to diagnose and repair their own bikes, in 1-on-1 and group classes at Piston & Chain and other venues.
