Description

ARTS & CRAFTS Summer fun for the FAMILY! Join me, Michelle Domocol (OSA Educational Aide) for a Nature Treasure hunt. We look for special natural details like animal paw shapes, leaf veins, moss, feather shapes and the texture of bark. Then we'll make clay sculptures of what we found in the treasure hunt. We'll also make beautiful nature pictures using Sun Print Paper. Our target audience is children aged 8-12 yrs with parents/guardians. This is a Summer Series conducted from June-September. Feel free to join one or all the sessions.

  • Bring your imagination and appreciation and respect for nature.
  • Meeting location: There are 2 main street entrances for Ulistac, one towards the north end (nearer Tasman Drive), and one towards the south end (nearer Hope Dr). We'll meet at the SOUTH END entrance near Hope Drive. You will see OSA signs pointing to the Entrance. Go through the entrance and towards the canopy with an Open Space Authority banner.
  • Restrooms: Restrooms are across the road in Lick Mill Park (4750 Lick Mill Blvd) There is a marked pedestrian lane that leads to the restrooms.
  • Parking: There is plentiful street parking available on Lick Mill Blvd, right outside Ulistac. There is no charge for parking. If you would prefer to park in a parking lot, there are some spaces available at Lick Mill Park, directly across the street from Ulistac.

Thanks! Hope to see you there!
