Description

Are you a corporate that is looking to connect to startups in South Florida? Then you need to join Captains of Innovation Info Session! Leveraging CIC and Venture Café's global presence, COI connects companies to relevant research and startup partners, hosts sponsored events such as pitch competitions, and facilitates think tanks to generate new products and services. We look forward to a night of discussion around corporate innovation strategy, corporate venture capital, and corporate-startup partnerships.

This session is presented by Carrie Allen, Executive Director of Captains of Innovation Program. Carrie is an international leader in innovation, education and the arts. Currently, she is Executive Director of Captains of Innovation, CIC’s and Venture Cafe Global Institute's corporate innovation program, which is a full spectrum corporate innovation membership program designed to help corporations find new products, services, business models and technology in today's global, hyper-competitive environment.

She co-founded, built and ran the innovation educational program the ArtScience Prize in 2008, growing it from Boston to 23 sites internationally. She oversaw the creation of Le Laboratoire Cambridge and Cafe ArtScience in Cambridge, MA.
