If you only want to attend the aerial event click on the Select A Date button and choose Friday. If you want to attend both days, choose Friday and select your two-day pass of choice. If you only want to attend the pole event click on the Select A Date button and choose Saturday. Contact us if you have any issues. PLEASE NOTE THE EVENT TIME CHANGES - FRIDAY, 4pm to 10pm and STAURDAY, 4pm to 9pm.

The Capital of Texas Aerial Championships, or CoTAC, was created to provide aerial and pole dance enthusiasts, both in Austin and nation-wide, an opportunity to showcase their skills in a rewarding, constructive, competitive environment. We would like to invite you to be a part of this event and the amazing community of athletes, artists, and their supporters.

CoTAC strives to provide a platform for pole and aerial artists, from novice to professional, in order to showcase their talent, ability, and passion for the art form while pursuing national recognition. The goal of the CoTAC organizers is to promote healthy competition, while creating an environment to learn and grow artistically within the aerial and pole communities.

CoTAC has grown exponentially in the last five years. The original event was only one day and sold out to a crowd 280 people. Two years ago we expanded the event to the span of two days in order to add more categories and divisions for competitors, and the crowd grew. This year the event is being produced by Austin Event Company at Palmer Events Center and is open to the public. Performers at many different levels including amateur, novice, professional and partners will be competing in aerial silks, lyra, hammock and trapeze as well as rotating and stationary poles.

VIP Perks - Feel pampered in our roped off VIP area while sitting in comfy lounge furniture close to the action in front of the stage. A VIP lounge attendant will serve your food and beverage needs. VIPs get two free drink tickets per day included in the cost of admission.

Event Video/Photo Sales - Competitors and event attendees can purchase individual performer videos and/or photos as well as event video coverage for Day 1, Day 2 or both. Visit www.capitaloftx.com for details and pricing. Photos and vidoes will be avaiable within 2 weeks after the event ends.


Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

There is no age limit for this event, but you will have to show your ID and be 21+ yrs old to have alcoholic beverages.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is a public parking garage ($8 fee) at Palmer Events Center for your convenience and you can access a Lyft, Uber or Taxi pretty easily.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

No food or beverages, cameras or video cameras, firearms or any other weapons are allowed on the premises.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

No, tickets are non-transferable unless you are a competitor as well as a vendor at a booth and are competing. You can transfer your ticket(s) to your staff to run your booth.

Will I be able to buy tickets at the door?

Yes, but it is cheaper to by them online during early bird pricing (ending July 25, 2017).

Can I pay cash or check for tickets or sponsorships? Yes, simply contact the organizer for an invoice for payment.

How do I become a sponsor for this event?

You can decide on your sponsorship level and purchase it through this Eventbrite page, or if you feel more comfortable, you can call, text or email Lindsay Rosenberg at 512-653-3602 or hello@austineventcompany.com for more information and to pay by check or credit card.

What happens when I become a sponsor? You will receive a welcome email with all of the guidelines and information you will need. Swag bag products and collatoral are due no later than 8/1/17. We cannot guarantee that any items received after that date will be included. Artwork for your advertisement for the Whova app will be due no later than 8/1/17.
