What is the Capital Key? A program of the Downtown Dover Partnership (DDP) Merchant Committee whereby residents, shoppers, visitors and friends of downtown can access value, savings, and special offers from participating downtown merchants. There is no cost to participate!

And Capital Key holders will received added special promos periodically throughout the year through the DDP! Most recently, Key Holders could earn up to two free tickets to see the Cartoon Christmas Trio live at the Schwartz Center. They have also received a bag to shop in downtown, a free tee shirt, and other giveaways as a thank you for shopping downtown.

How do I use my Capital Key? Bring your key fob (the little tag that goes on to your key ring) or the card (credit-card-size) into participating shops whenever you shop, and show the shop representative before your purchase to receive your promotional offer.

How do I know who is participating and what the promotion is? Through merchants and on-line:

- Visit and REFRESH THE PAGE often to ensure you are seeing updated promotions: https://Tinyurl.com/CapitalKey periodically for new promotions and additional merchant participation, as they will vary throughout the year.

- Ask downtown Dover merchants about their promotion when you visit shops.

How do I get my Capital Key? Three ways:

1. Pick up your Capital Key from participating downtown merchants or at the Downtown Dover Partnership information table at events. The Downtown Dover Ambassadors also typically have them on hand as they walk downtown greeting visitors.
