About this Event
Peter Bruce will be presenting examples from three communities in Wright County of ways that can improve the experience of potential customers.
He has experience in business community organizing, urban economic development, joint marketing for business communities, conducting of pedestrian retail traffic counts for property managers and retail districts in 25 major cities in the US, and since 1991 in downtown Minneapolis and Saint Paul, and for smaller cities in
Minnesota during the last 10 years. In addition to these experiences, he spent 5 years on the Saint Paul Downtown Council staff managing the design and development of the Wabasha Streetscape by the Capitol and Ordway Theater, and 10 years conducting market analysis for retail and office development as a member of a small consulting firm in Minneapolis.
His work includes:
Consulting the City of Buffalo MN in 2008-09 by identifying the information presentation/hardware options for an electronic computer-operated kiosk, supervising final design and site location/installation of the kiosk
Consulting a property owner in Rogers (during the early 2000’s) about how to physically enhance the parking lot of one of his commercial buildings to better accommodate small public events on the property.
