CanonburyReflects

We would like to invite you to CanonburyReflects on March 30th which will be hosting a public discussion on the implications of brexit. It is a public event so please feel free to bring along friends.

As the UK begins the process of negotiating its departure from the EU we will consider, with the help of three speakers from a range of backgrounds and positions, the implications for refugees and asylum seekers, for the economy and for our relationships around the world.

Speakers:

Hannah Gretton - organiser for Safe Passage which opens legal routes to sanctuary in the UK for child refugees

Martin Durkin - TV producer, documentary film director and CEO of Wag TV, involved in the Leave campaign and made 'Brexit the Movie'

Sir Nicholas Barrington - a British diplomat who served in, amongst other places, Afghanistan, Japan, Iran, Egypt and Pakistan

*Doors open 6.45pm*
