The Cinema EOS C700 Super35 camera is designed to be a flexible “A” camera for various types of shooting environments, featuring both internal 4K ProRes and XF-AVC recording. The C700 features the choice of one of two new Super 35mm CMOS sensors and is available in both EF and PL versions. It also includes a variety of 2K/HD recording options featuring frame rates up to 120 fps using the full frame of the sensor, and up to 240 fps in 2K crop mode. Other key features of the camera system include Dual Pixel CMOS AF (EF Model Only), Canon Log 2 and 3, Slow and Fast Motion Recording, ACES Support, SMPTE 2084 HDR Monitoring, 10 stops of internal ND filtration, and IP Streaming.
Acknowledging the need to control zoom, focus and iris/aperture, Canon developed this zoom lens with full external servo control for drama, documentary and other video productions. The Compact Servo 18-80 is Canon’s first cinema-style lens that incorporates both an Image Stabilization function and Auto Focus function. The lens is also fully 4K-ready, with a high optical resolution and support for Super35mm large-format cameras. A 9-blade aperture diaphragm helps ensure an artistic and beautiful representation of out-of-focus areas or Bokeh. The lens also features a 4.4x zoom magnification, a focal length range of 18mm to 80mm, and a 180º smooth rotating focus ring.
