Canning Tomatoes and Salsa

Enjoy the taste of homemade salsa and fresh tomatoes canned in your own kitchen. This class will teach the basics of canning tomatoes and salsa. For your safety, we ask that you wear closed-toe shoes and pull back any long hair you might have. This is a "hands-on" class, so feel free to bring an apron to protect your clothing. Space is limited and registration is required through Eventbrite.com.
You may pay by check or exact change at the door, after registration. Make checks payable to: Sarasota Board of County Commissioners.
Also, the "USDA Complete Guide to Home Canning" book will be available to purchase for $15 (plus tax) at the class.
