Join us for this special Canna-coding session with professionals in cannatech! What is it like to build software for businesses in the cannabis industry? What career paths are available? 30 minutes will be scheduled for cannatech Q&A, but feel free to bring your personal projects and miscellaneous questions, too.

Panelists inlude Nathan Glass from Cannopy, Zach Schulz and Tim Alexander from Vangst, and Ryan Budny from Flowhub.

About the Panelists:

Zach Schulz:

Zach has spent his career in software development working on Enterprise Applications. Designing and developing application to improve business productivity and profitability. He is now working at Vangst, as the Chief Architect. He is leading the technology team as they help Vangst become the future of staffing in the Cannabis industry.

Nathan Glass:

Nathan has held a variety of roles in the cannabis industry: from delivery driving, to trimming and packing, to customer outreach and market research. Today, he works at Cannopy, and has worked with them to begin development on a B2C platform that would allow consumers to order directly from manufacturers and producers.

Ryan Budny:

"I have been a developer at Flowhub since April of 2015. Green-fielded both a grow application and point of sale application for the cannabis industry. I work extensively with the Metrc API for all the products Flowhub offers. I really enjoy alleviating the pain points of working in the cannabis industry through software. Before becoming a developer and working at Flowhub, I spent a year in an economics phd program, but decided academia would not be a good fit -- I needed something more hands on and impactful."
