Event description

Description

Since the legalization of adult-use cannabis in Oregon, state regulators have been tasked with crafting and implementing a framework for regulation. These efforts have been complicated by ongoing federal prohibition and the lack of important foundations that exist in analog agricultural sectors. This program examines Oregon’s cannabis regulatory scheme, both in the context of medical and adult-use. The past, present, and future of cannabis in Oregon is covered with an emphasis on both the challenges we have overcome and the challenges we face in the future.
