About this Event

Cannabis Knowledge Exchange Forum: Evidence Informed Policy and Practice

March 10th, 2020 I 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. I Chelsea Hotel (33 Gerrard St. W, Toronto, ON)

The forum is intended for service providers, policy-makers and system stakeholders from diverse sectors – mental health and addictions, primary care, public health and education.

The forum provides an opportunity to:

  • Describe the impacts of non-medical cannabis use on mental health, driving and other behaviours.
  • Identify gaps in the evidence related to non-medical cannabis use.
  • Discuss how evidence can be integrated into current policies and practices.

Opening remarks: Lori Spadorcia, Senior Vice President, Public Affairs, Partnerships & Chief Strategy Officer at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and Michel Rodrigue, Vice-President of Organizational Performance and Public Affairs at the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC)

Morning sessions will be live streamed in both French and English; register for a live stream admission and you will receive an email with further details before the event.

Please note: Subsidies are not guaranteed, participants may be eligible for travel and accommodation subsidies.

Accommodations:

Accommodations will be covered according to the CAMH accommodation policy for those who live over 100km away from the meeting venue, are currently working in Canada and are not employed by a cannabis corporation. We will be in contact with you with further details on accommodation.

Travel:

Eligible travel expenses will be reimbursed by CAMH according to the CAMH travel policy.
