Also, you can order a t-shirt from the Georgetown when we get there, it will cost $15.00 can order forms can be filled out after the hike.

We are so excited to meet everyone and share in this adventure with you! It's going to be a long hard day, but it will be worth it! Please remember that this is just a fun event and challenge! We will send out recomendeations and emails as we get closer to September 9th!

Please keep in mind that we are hiking a place we all know and love, try to carpool to the start locations to reduce vehicle emissions and increase parking spaces. Also, don't forget to "Take only photographs:Leave only footprints"

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

NOPE! Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us on the hikes! The after party is in the dining hall so all ages are get the mugs too, but anyone under the age of 18 can't fill it with anything alcoholic. According to provincial laws.

What can I bring into the event?

I mean, hiking boots are recomended...but who am I to stop you from going bare foot?

Are dogs welcome on the trail?

Yes! All three trails are dog friendly. The dogs MUST be good with poeple and other dogs as the trails are busy, and they MUST be kept on a leash at all times (this is non negotiable). Please keep in mind that there are scrambles so it is recomended that the dog be use to these types of conditions

What if I'm not at the trail head at the Start Time?

Hike anyway! These trails are public and the event is just for fun to encourage meetings, foster new realtianships, meet like minded people and have a great day! Catch up, hike on your own, or join us on the way down! Better us for drinks at the Georgetown after!

Do I have to hike all three peaks?

NOPE! You have to hike all three peaks in a season if you want the "Triple Crown" title so if you have already hiked one or two, you can join us for whichever you have left to do. I cannot stress enough that this is just a fun event so feel welcome to join us for whatever you are comfortable with. Please ensure that you have phtographs of yourself on all three peaks.

What Qualifies as a "Peak"?

Great question! EEOR & Ha Ling, the photo must be taken at the actual peak, HOWEVER for Lady Mac things are a bit different. You only need to make it to the Tea House/Heli Landing Pad to qualify. We will recommend that everyone attemtpt the scramble to the false summit but it's really up to you. We will NOT recommend that anyone attempt the ridge walk to the real summit because with the number of people joing us it will make an already difficult ridge walk quite tricky and to be honest I just do NOT feal like calling in a high angle rescue. That would really put a damper on the day. You can try it, but it's not required.

What if I cannot or don't make it down in the allotted time?

The times listed are to help keep things organized and alow people who are only hikeing EEOR or Ha Ling to know when to join us. You can hike as quickly or as slowly as you want, as long as you are enjoing yourself!

Will there be Aid Stations or First Aid on the hike?

No. This is a fully self supported hike. You are expected to bring all your food and water and be able to care for yourself with any minor injuries you may sustain.

How do I get to the Cougar Creek Parking Lot?

In Canmore, follw Benchlands Trail towards the Iron Goat Pub & Grill. You will find the parking lot just past the Pub, where the road splits into Benchlands and Elk Run. Park in the parkinglot or on the residental streets.

How do I get to the Goat Creek Parking Lot?

In Canmore, follow the signs to the Nordic Centre on Spray Lakes Road, go past the Nordic Centre and into Kananaskis Country for 5 km. Park at the Goat Creek Day Use Area.
