Description

"Canine Crimes" - Untangling the new Tethering Law, the Dog Owner's survival guide to PA's Dog Laws, and navigating the complicated reporting of dog incidents in Pennsylvania.

Doglicious Spa and Wellness Center in Hummelstown, PA is pleased to announce a unique “Canine Crimes” seminar open to the general public on Saturday October 13, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, to be held at their location at 751 Middletown Road, Hummelstown, PA 17036.

The Animal Crime Institute will be presenting an information packed session on the complicated enforcement of how and where to report dog incidents, what every dog owner needs to know about their requirements under the law for keeping and housing their dogs, and understanding the tethering provision in the new Animal Cruelty Law (referred to as Libre’s Law). Pennsylvania has a unique investigative response to dog incidents and animal complaints as there are a number of different agencies and entities responsible for investigating different types of incidents. It can be very complicated and frustrating when a citizen wishes to report an incident but doesn’t know where to go to make a report. This seminar will also cover the dog owner’s responsibilities for their own dogs to ensure they are in compliance with the various regulations regarding their canine companions. Come out and join us for this FREE event. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and leave armed with important information about keeping dogs in Pennsylvania.

The mission of The Animal Crime Institute is to provide education, research, resource collaboration, and support to agencies involved in the response to animal incidents and the investigation of animal crimes. The ACI also provides educational opportunities to the general public on a variety of animal welfare issues.
