Candle making workshop: learn about candle making, have some drinks!

Come make a couple of scented candles with Keap, and learn about the history of fragrance and candle making. You'll smell different fragrances, learn about wicking and wax, and pour your very own scented candles.

A Keap chandler will be on hand, guiding you through the process and leading you up to your finished, fragrant products: two 2.5oz, hand-poured (by you!) scented candles. We'll keep you well hydrated with wine, beer and water (or BYOB).

About us

We started Keap by making candles in our kitchens, and graduating to a fully-fledged candle studio in Brooklyn. We've learned a thing or two along the way and want to share our love for fragrance and candle making with you.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Participants must be over the age of 21. Since drinking will be allowed, we reserve the right to eject class members who disrupt the enjoyment of the class for others without refund.

Do I need to bring anything to the event?

No. All materials, candle making accessories, and some light drinks/snacks are included in the price. Just bring your best inner-chandler.

Can I take my candle home with me?

Yup. Your candle should be solid enough to take by the end of the class, or you can opt to have them shipped to you.

What's the refund policy?

No refunds or transfer once ticket is purchased due to limited number of tickets available.

What's the cancellation policy?

If the class is less than 50% full one week before the class date, we reserve the right to cancel the class. If we do this we will offer free admission to another scheduled class of your choice OR a full refund.
