Join us for a candle making workshop where Diana, owner and candle maker behind Brighter Days Co, will give you detailed instructions and tips on how to make the perfect soy wax candle!

What does your ticket get you?

1. Includes two 8oz hand poured (by you!) scented wooden wick soy candles

2. The opportunity to pick and create your own scent, candle name and label!

3. Chat with the founder of Brighter Days, Diana, and ask whatever your heart desires.

Please plan to arrive a few minutes early so you can get situated before we begin the class. Wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit dirty (in case you decide to go crazy with the wax ;))

*Please note: the candle cooling process can take anywhere from 30-45 minutes. During this time, we will be designing our candle labels. If you finish early, you are more than welcome to go shopping, eat, or explore and come back to pick up your candles at 5pm!

Are there minimum age requirements for the workshop?

Since we will be dealing with hot melted wax, this workshop is recommended for teens and adults.

What are my parking options?

You can find paid street parking near Convention Hall. You must note your parking space number and locate a meter to pay for your parking spot. The machines accept exact cash or credit card. Parking lots are also located near the waterfront at Asbury Avenue next to the Carousel Building, Third Avenue, and Fourth Avenue. Daily rates change based on the date and any special events, form $7 to $20. More information on parking in Asbury Park here.

Where is the workshop located?

Asbury Park Convention Hall, 1300 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ 07712. Enter the Grand Arcade (big walkway) of Convention Hall and then go through the gold doors in the middle of the walkway into the concert hall. Workshops will be located on the left hand side once you get into the big room. Maps are at the Welcome Table to help you find your way!

What can I bring into the event?

Yourself! We recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting a bit dirty (in case you decide to go crazy with the wax ;))
