Description

Troubled by the way Hong Kong citizens mistreat domestic workers, Justin turns the camera on his own relationship with Teresita Lauang, the Filipino domestic worker who has sacrificed decades away from her family to raise his own.

From 5PM - 6PM on January 7th 2018, we are pleased to host a screening of this short but powerful documentary at Emperor Theatres in Central. The screening is much anticipated and has not only been featured in local media but has garnered over 1,100 followers on its Facebook page and 50+ thousand views on its’ trailer.

This documentary serves as a tribute to the sacrifices of the 300,000+ women who leave their homes to come to Hong Kong, and gives us an intimate look one domestic worker’s relationship with her employer’s family and her own family.

It will be great opportunity for families to come together with the women who take care of them, learn about what many of them must go through in order to support their families back home.

There will also be a short Q&A with the director after the screening about the process of creating this film.
