In light of the current public health concerns related to the spread of the COVID-19 virus, KUOW has chosen to cancel this in-person event. Misinformation is everywhere. From deep fakes to false stories, what will it mean for voters in 2020? And how can YOU spot it and stop it? Join KUOW and the Center for an Informed Public on Monday, April 13 at UW Tacoma for Bots, Trolls and Your Vote. KUOW’s All Things Considered host Kim Malcolm and a panel of experts will explore these questions as well as what’s being done by industry, government and other institutions to confront the spread of misinformation and what you can do.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
