About this Event

Under the guidance of the CA Department of Public Health and San Diego County’s Public Health Officer, all events, programs, meetings, and classes that take place in the library are canceled through the end of April.

The County’s Public Health Officer banned mass gatherings and announced social distancing and visiting restrictions countywide to slow the regional spread of novel coronavirus, which causes the disease COVID-19.

For more information regarding the novel coronavirus and current status, go to the County’s coronavirus webpage at: coronavirus-sd.com.

All SDCL libraries will be closed to the public beginning March 18th. For more information read the news release below:

Based on the book The Brilliant History of Color in Art by Victoria Finlay, this lecture explores the unusual, funny and sometimes strange stories of your favorite colors. We will take a look at the science behind them and how they forever changed the course of art and history

Parking @ San Marcos Library: 1st floor is 2 hours, 2nd floor and above is all day.
