Google Analytics - Goals & Funnels (Intermediate)
We apologize. This workshop is cancelled, due to a conflict with the trainer's schedule. We will try to re-schedule the workshop or upload a video and slides for the workshop within the next month and half.
Most nonprofits have websites these days (thank god), and many use Google Analytics as their website analytics tool (if you don't you should), but yet with all these technological gains, one of the biggest questions around Google Analytics that we constantly hear is, "WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?"
It's a good question. Google Analytics offers SO MANY metrics and measurements, as well as options to dive into details of those metrics and measurements that your not quite certain if you need andor what they are doing. In session one of our Google Analytics series, we introduced you to an installable nonprofit dashboard for your Google Analytics account. And in this session, we will talk about how to start setting goals for your nonprofit.
Goals & Funnels in Google Analytics allow your nonprofit to stop just using passive metrics, and to get metrics that have specific value to your organization. Did you want to increase memberships? Get more people to join your mailing list? Have more people download publications and research? etc. Creating goals in Google Analytics can allow you more insight to how your website is working for you, and adding funnels can allow you to test and see where people exist from your goals.
