Our Fort Lauderdale Forum September program will be a sobering presentation from local experts about the opioid use as an epidemic as it devastates communities across the country. The epidemic of deaths involving opioids continues to worsen. Prescription opioid misuse, use of heroin and cocaine combined with illicitly manufactured fentanyl are intertwined and contribute to thousands of deaths in our area.
