ABOUT GEORGE ALLEN
George Allen serves as senior vice president for government relations at the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. He brings more than 23 years of public affairs experience to the Chamber. Prior to joining the Chamber, George worked in the Seattle office of Edelman Public Affairs, and as a Chief of Staff for a King County Councilmember and a Seattle City Councilmember. His fields of expertise were political campaigning as well as public safety, utility control and transportation. At the Chamber, George leads city, county and state lobbying efforts and is the Executive Director of the Civic Alliance for a Sound Economy, a newly formed political action committee supported by a diverse group of businesses in the greater Seattle area.
