Human trafficking is modern day slavery. No time in history has slavery been more predominant than it is today. Victims are young children, teenagers, men, women, rich, poor, US citizens and foreign born. Victims are subjected to force, fraud, or coercion to compel them to engage in commercial sex or involuntary labor. The common misnomer is that the typical victim is a foreign national who is brought into the United States. However, based on the latest OC human trafficking task force report, 82% of the victims they assisted were US citizens.

The Local Anti-Human Trafficking Initiative is a group of volunteers empowered by God to stand up for the oppressed. Since our inception in November 2014 the team has rescued, assisted, mentored & helped house about 70 survivors. This ministry offers awareness and education, prevention and training and survivor support. We can only do this by the grace of God and the support of volunteers.

Meeting Schedule - Last Tuesday of every month from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
