Canape-tite | Exploring Alternative Sources of Food with ANATTA this SG60

In celebration of SG60, ANATTA Culinary Academy invites you to Canape-tite, a hands-on event that explores alternative sources of food through the lens of innovation, and local creativity.

Join us for a day-long showcase featuring interactive workshops, canapes , bon bon and ice cream tastings led by our in-house multidisciplinary Chef Instructor, Chef Andre, and exciting local produces:

🐜 Altimate Nutrition – Unique supplier in Singapore specialising in edible insect-based nutrition. Their mission is to make delicious, nutritious snacks that are good for you and kind to the Earth. They’re here to challenge the norms, disrupt the food industry, and show that sustainability doesn’t mean sacrificing flavour or fun.

🍦 Mireia – They are committed to using clean ingredients, ensuring that their vanilla beans are harvested and fermented naturally, without preservatives or additives. Mireia's dedicated vanilla farmers' commitment to sustainability and quality has allowed their small backyard experiment to flourish into a sustainable farm, where every vanilla bean is grown with care, harvested with precision, and crafted with love.

🍄 Spore Garden – A local, home-grown mushroom farm where mushrooms are harvested at peak freshness, resulting in noticeably more flavorful, nutrient-packed varieties that stay fresh longer than those typically found on regular market shelves.

🌱 ANATTA Farm - An innovative indoor hydroponics farm, a hub of research and cultivation dedicated to nurturing a diverse array of edible vegetables and flowers under meticulously controlled conditions. ANATTA Farm's aim is to be a vital source of ‘clean’ and flavourful produce, contributing to a more sustainable and health-conscious food system.

Each brand will host two intimate sessions throughout the day, giving you multiple opportunities to engage, learn, and taste. Check out our timeline and pop in anytime — the event is open all day, and you’re free to come and go as you please.
