Event description

Description

Defining Your Role as the Go-To Copyright Person is an exploratory online course in which you learn about the why, who, what and how of being that designated copyright person. You'll receive one lesson each week with short discussion questions to help you explore your role.

This registration is for Canadians only; if you live in the US or elsewhere, please register here.

Participants do the work on their own time as their schedules permit. We do not meet together at any specific times. Instruction incldues readings and assignments in one-week segments. Student participation is in an online forum. Plan to spend approximately 2 hours per week in this course.

Here's a testimonial from one of our graduates:

"Defining Your Role as the Go-To Copyright Person exceeded my expectations. The questions raised in each lesson really made me think outside my daily tasks. I am now able to make it clear to my colleagues that all permission questions and requests must be addressed through me. I highly recommend this course to other go-to copyright persons!"
