Coming to Chicago Father's Day Weekend June 17, 2018. The First African American Play to ever have Residency on the Las Vegas Strip " Can A Woman Raise a Man? " This incredible and touching drama written by Americas hottest new author and Playwright Q. Allen King kicks off its national tour in the windy city. The play tells a compelling story of hope health and healing through an amazing combination of drama, laughter, poetry, singing and music from a myriad of genres. The nights event will be hosted by Chicago's own Patrice Moncel. Includes the creative poetry of poet Laureate the imcomparable Ms. Strawberri Taylor. Chicago native and music award winner Blaque Ice, makes a powerful appearance along with guest choirs, djs and more! The play also features special choreography form Jennece Black of Black Queen productions Also a Chicago Native.
