Event description

Description

Alpine Women Collective's next objective: Mount Katahdin. We've been eyeing this pile of rocks for a while, and we're excited to announce that we're embarking on a three-day camping trip to summit Mt. Katahdin.

Thanks to The Maine Highlands, included in this trip are: camp sites, a BBQ dinner, shuttles to and from the hike, and a Penobscot river float.

As you likely know, there's no easy way to hike Katahdin. We love being able to welcome hikers of all skill levels, but for this hike in particular, it is important that attendees come with moderate hiking experience and are physically able to hike the distance, terrain, and elevation gain.

Location: Abol Bridge Campground 3969 Golden Road, Millinocket
