What is Camp Kaizen?
Camp Kaizen is the UK's original immersive outdoor training experience, set in the Lake District for our 2026 season. What is Ultra Camp?
Our Ultra Camp is special. It involves a mixed group of up to 20 males and female athletes coming together in an extremelly hard, multi-day training environment.
Each day on camp will be focussed on one specific event. One day will be an ultra-distance run and another will be a multiple peak challenge. Over the course of 3 days, the compounding effect of the exercise will provide a true test for all attendees.
For your accomodation, our 4M bell tents accomodate 2 camp members per tent. Plenty of room to spread out and recover appropiately, and if you sign up with a friend, you will share with them.
Despite the ultra-endurance nature of this Camp, we remain true to our 3 core fundamentals: Train, Explore and Recover.
Recovery and recommended ability
Recovery is especially essential on this camp. On site recovery equipment is provided in the form of foam rollers, strech bands, and more. All food and fuelling needs are taken care of by the Kaizen catering team. You will never go hungry whilst on camp.
We also provide comortable raised beds and fitted sheets. You will provide your own sleeping bag.
Required fitness level: Evidenced completion of a marathon or comparable endurance event. Must be able to train for 5+ hours per day.
Competition, training, and lifestyle benefits
From purely a training aspect, Camp Kaizen will help you to prepare for the following events (to name a few): marathons, ironman events, park runs, half marathons, ultra marathons, long hikes and 3-peak challenges, ultra-endurance events, hyrox, crossfit, and much more.
Let's not forget about arguably the most important aspect of the camp - building a bulletproof mentality for life beyond, having gained a fresh understanding of what you're capable of. Then joining the Kaizen Community and living your Kaizen life.
Our camps generally provide a great platform to meet new people from across the country who share your love of fitness, exercise, and the outdoors. With up to 20 people per camp, you can be sure to make new friendships and bonds for life, united by the common gratification of overcoming the hard training sessions throughout the camp experience.
