2017 Camp Innoventure Registration
Session 1: July 24th - 29th
For 5th, 6th, & 7th grade graduates who are entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in August 2017
Camp Innoventure is an exciting week of learning how to start your own business, and then actually doing it! Students will learn how to:
- Brainstorm business ideas
- Write a mission statement
- Put together a short business plan
- Create and sell a product at the Alamogordo Farmers' Market!
Registration Deadline: July 21st or until filled
What: Every day students will be given instruction on basic business concepts and write portions of a basic business plan. Then, they will think about and develop a product to make and sell at the Alamogordo Farmers' Market.Camp is held in partnership with NMSU-A and the Small Business Development Center.
When: Monday- Saturday July 24-29, 2017, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Exception: On the Saturdays at the end of the week is Farmer's Market Day! Parents will drop off their Camper at a specified location at the Farmer's Market in time for them to set up before the Market starts at 10:00. Campers will be picked up at the same location promptly at 12:00 or slightly before if the heat is extreme. The camp leader will provide more info during the week of camp with a specific meeting location and time.
Who: 5th, 6th and 7th Grade graduates who are entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade in August 2017.
Where: Room number to be determined, camp will be held at NMSU-A with a partnership through the SBDC Office at NMSU-A.
Cost: $40.00 includes project materials fees, workbook materials, and camp backpack.
