Camp Henry Biannual Work Days!

Bring your friends and family and join us at Camp Henry for our biannual work days! Serve alongside fellow campers, alumni, volunteers, and staff to help improve camp!  

All ages are welcome. We ask that all minors are accompanied and supervised by an adult. If you would like your 14-17 year old to attend a work day on their own, please contact Leigha at leighao@camphenry.org to see if we will be able to accommodate this request. This is a great opportunity for teenagers who need volunteer or service hours, yet we need to be sure we have staffing available for those interested.

Lunch will be provided. 

Release forms are required for all attendees. Please complete the online release form below for each participant prior to arrival.

Please wear closed toed shoes and long pants, and clothes that can get dirty. Feel free to bring work gloves, safety glasses, leaf rakes, chainsaws, shovels, drills/impact drivers, etc.

Projects that you might see for a work day might include the following:

• Cutting trees down, cutting into firewood, splitting & stacking
• Leaf and stick clean up
• Cleaning, sanding & staining
• Cleaning horse tack, saddles & horse gear
• Building log benches for fire circles
• Planting grass
• Spreading wood chips
• General building maintenance
• Washing windows of cabins and other buildings
• Building firewood storage for camp out sites
• Building assorted structures around camp

Projects chosen for the work day will communicated about one week prior to the event date.
