About the organizer

Habitat for Humanity of North Carolina is the state support organization for 63 Habitat affiliates in the state. The state office provides shared services, advocacy, training and professional support, statewide resource development and operational support. North Carolina is one of the top 3 states for Habitat housing production in the US.

Habitat for Humanity provides homeownership opportunities to residents that do not qualify for a traditional mortgage. Habitat sells their homes at zero or very low interest to keep the cost affordable. Homeowners pay a mortgage and contribute "sweat equity" hours on the construction of their homes.
