Camp Craftaway: A Weekend Day for Crafty Adults 2023

Indulge in the nostalgia of summer camp as an adult and take a break to try something new!

Camp Craftaway is a weekend day camp for crafty adults. Join us and make cool stuff from August 11 – 13, 2023 at Alki Beach Bathhouse in beautiful West Seattle.

Spend a weekend taking craft workshops taught by local PNW artists, learning new skills, and creating with your hands.

You’ll take part in three days of fun-filled, hands-on crafting in a variety of workshops. Learn from experts in their field, meet local makers, and leave with lasting memories, craft supplies, and new skills.

What your ticket gets you:

Tickets are sold as either three days (all access) or two-day passes. Each ticket includes access to workshops (supplies sold separately) and other fun events during Camp Craftaway including our craft supplies exchange.

Bring a buddy and save! If you and a friend want to attend together, buy a buddy pass. You'll each save $25 when you do. (Ticket must be bought together.)

Do I have to attend all three days?

No. We have two-day passes available (Friday – Saturday or Saturday – Sunday).

How do I pick my workshops and get supplies?

You will sign up for your workshops separately from buying a ticket, closer to the start of Camp Craftaway. Any supplies you need for the workshops will be waiting for you at the workshop (unless otherwise noted).

Is this an overnight camp? Are meals and lodging provided?

Camp Craftaway is a day camp. Lodging and meals are not provided. If you're looking for lodging, we suggest searching for Airbnbs in West Seattle—there are a lot of nice ones!

I'm nervous about attending alone. Will I have fun?

Yes! Crafty people are fun—especially the kind that sign up for craft workshops 😉

All workshops are beginner-friendly, so you won't be overwhelmed.

Crafting naturally invites conversation while we're working with our hands. If you're not sure what to say, just start talking about your pet or your favorite podcast!

Are refunds available?

Refunds are not available, but you can put the ticket towards next year's event. You may also sell your ticket and transfer the registration to someone else.
