Event description

Description

Girls want to make laws AND money, so we’re launching the Girls in Business Initiative in 2020. Don’t miss our inaugural session of Camp CEO for Girls Chicago 2020. Camp CEO for Girls begins with an introduction to basic business principles including strategy, marketing and finance. Each girl will then create her own business and complete the following activities.

  • Name her business
  • Create a mission statement
  • Create a logo
  • Create a slogan or tagline
  • Design a business card
  • Create a marketing plan
  • Create a finance plan including a budget
  • Create a pitch for investors

Once her business has taken shape our young CEOs will pitch a group of mock investors for the funding to launch her start-up. 30 tickets will be issued for this session.

Camp CEO for Girls is open to girls ages 10 to 15. Girl Scouts participating in Camp CEO for Girls will receive a business owner badge upon completion of the program. The camp day runs from 8am to 3pm. The registration fee includes program materials, snacks and a GIB logo t-shirt. No refunds will be given for camp registration fees unless the organizer cancels or reschedules the session. For additional information contact us via email at info@girlsinpolitics.com or 202-660-1457 ext 2.
