Event description

In light of the current pandemic and stay-at-home orders, Advocacy Day 2020 is going virtual! We will be sharing the updated agenda and other details soon, so stay tuned.

CAMEO will schedule the meetings, but we need to know who is going as soon as possible. Please RSVP today! The deadline to RSVP and have a meeting with your legislator is May 29, 2020.

This year, we'll discuss the state small business response to the COVID-19 crisis and what the state can do to ensure a healthy recovery.

Draft Agenda

1:00-2:00 Conversation with state leaders

2:00-3:30 Virtual pre-scheduled meetings with legislators

3:30 Report back and network

One of CAMEO’s key roles is to give the microbusiness sector a voice in Washington, DC and Sacramento. We are committed to sustaining and increasing funding for the sector, which is why we host Advocacy Day.

Our members consistently say that advocacy is one of the issues that you value most about CAMEO. We want to continue to increase and strengthen our efforts at the state, federal and industry level and with the help of our Advocacy Champions we will be able to do that.

Join CAMEO at the $1,500 or $3,000 level and you will be a sponsor of our Advocacy Day. You can purchase your ticket on this page and we will be in touch in case you'd like to invite extra guests. You also can sponsor our Advocacy Day at the $500 level if that suits your needs better by choosing that ticket option on this page.

For more information contact Heidi Pickman, VP of Programs and Policy.
