Join us for exciting raffle prizes, free dinner, and insightful community data!

The San Francisco Tobacco Free Coalition invites you to CAM JAM! - Community Leaders Take Action on Tobacco. Emerging community leaders from nine San Francisco organizations (Bay Area Community Resources, Booker T. Washington Community Service Center, Breathe California, Jamestown Community Center, Rafiki Coalition for Health and Wellness, Samoan Community Development Center, Vietnamese Youth Development Center, YMCA Urban Services, and Youth Leadership Institute) will be sharing their research on how tobacco impacts the health of their communities. Come join us in honoring and supporting their work towards social justice and health equity for San Francisco!


The event will feature a brief 15 minute conference-style program of rotations between several stations. Emerging community leaders from each of the above agencies will present their research findings in engaging, visual, 5-7 minute talks.


Public transportation is highly encouraged.

About the Community Action Model (CAM)

For more than two decades, the Tobacco Free Project has successfully funded community-based organizations to implement the Community Action Model (CAM) to address a variety of environmental factors. The CAM creates change by building community capacity through a five step policy development process that has resulted in many innovative and exciting systems changes.
