Description

A scenic & informative cruise on the Caloosahatchee River. Captain John C. Cookman will pilot "M/V River Queen", his eco-friendly pontoon tour boat, on an almost two hour cruise. Get an up close view of the beauty of the current river & see original portions of the river as well while learning many new & informative things about the river and surrounding area from your tour guides.

This cruise will feature a representative from the Florida Public Archaeology Network joining the ranks of our story tellers with tales about the days when steamboats in Florida rivers were the best means of transportation as well as sharing other tales of Florida's past over the centuries.

Departure Schedule: Trip leaves the wharf on Sunday 2/25/18 at 11:am

Please arrive 1/2 hour before departure to check-in & receive your boarding pass. Your tickets will be emailed to you from the "EventBrite" website, not from the museum.

Additional all day parking is available on the North side of the river at the "River's Edge Motel". They will supply a water taxi trip across the river when the bridge is closed. A fee may be charged.
