Learn how make relaxing walks part of your daily routine.
About this event
Grab your headphones and head outside for a 20-minute calming stroll. Time outdoors can provide soothing stress relief, giving us a valuable change in perspective to nurture our mental wellness. Join Licensed Clinical Social Worker Rachel Merchan for a combined walking and relaxation program in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. Participants will practice adding calming practices into a routine walk, while connecting with nature and engaging in light exercise.
This program is designed to have you listen by audio-conference, to Rachel, while you are walking outside. As this program is weather dependent (based on our local weather in Westchester County, NY), in the event of rain or weather, this program will be rescheduled to May 26 from 12:00-1:00 pm.
Registration required. You will receive a phone number/link to join the event prior to the event. If you cannot attend the live event, it is recommended you register to receive the program recording.
