Workshop With Artist - Béatrice Prost Due to the tools to be used and the need for power and space, this Workshop will be limited to 4 people, so we encourage you all to head below and book early! ** All materials will be supplied. You will be working on images created by Béatrice and printed especially for this Workshop. ** The Dremel etching tools are also supplied for this Workshop and you will be etching into heavy cotton rag water colour paper. Morning tea included - but bring a picnic lunch to enjoy during the Workshop lunch break! Join Artist – Béatrice Prost

and learn how to translate your images – carving and creating a 3rd dimension!

“The Other Side of the Mirror” _ “L’autre côté du miroir”

 

Béatrice was to Exhibit with us at our – Fish Lane Studios Workshop/Gallery in April ’17 – we are proud to reconvene her Exhibition “The Other Side of the Mirror” _ “L’autre côté du miroir”  now in conjunction with the celebration of all things French – here in Australia – we are coinciding
and collaborating with Alliance Francaise to showcase this amazing Work of an expat who, after working in Asia has chosen to be Australian for the past 20 years and now lives on our wonderful Coast! here

 

 

Due to the tools to be used and the need for power and space, this Workshop will be limited to 4 people, so we encourage you all to head below and book early!

  • All materials will be supplied. You will be working on images created by Béatrice and printed especially for this Workshop.

You will be working in the Gallery space – surrounded by Béatrice‘s inspirational Exhibition Work –

Opening of the Exhibition is the 2 weeks prior to the Workshop – Thursday 6 July 2017 – 6pm to late!

You are invited to the Opening evening and the celebrations we will share there!

This is the commencement of the French Festival and Week leading up to Bastille Day – head to their website to see the Calendar of events!

The French Festival will take place between the 7th and the 9th of July in South Bank to share the Brisbane’s Francophile community’s passion for France with Australia.

Our goal, is to apply the ‘Research’ that has shown that the use of the ‘Arts’ – has a material beneficial effect on people in a variety of settings, both as an aid to a personal sense of well-being and as a beneficial stimulant to specific areas of treatment and recovery, in healing environments.
