Event description

Description

In 2017, Kent was ranked as the 10th most diverse city in the United States, relative to its size. Renton was ranked as 24th, Federal Way as 34th, and Seattle as 132nd. We believe it is important to intentionally build strong multicultural skills among our neighborhoods, service organizations, and community groups, so that we can lovingly, respectfully, and effectively nurture the opportunities that this diversity offers. Together we will build relationships, reflect on culture as a concept and as a lived experience, and practice skills for respectful engagement across difference. Though this will be hosted in a Christian church, we will not push religious beliefs onto each other or privilege one faith over another. All are welcome!

This workshop is being facilitated by Krista Foundation for Global Citizenship
