Callaloo Children's Media Collective Monthly Meetup
The Callaloo Children's Media Collective (CCMC) is a collective of children's media professionals of color. Based in Washington, DC the CCMC's mission is to provide space, resources and support to creative professionals of color who work in the children's publishing and media industry through meet-ups, professional development, workshops and networking events.
CCMC Summer monthly meetings will take place at Sankofa Bookstore, June 1st, July 6th and August 3rd from 6:30-8pm, $5 at the door.
Monthly meetings will be lead by collective members, who will share their work and process as well as lead group discussions on a variety of themes relevant to collective members working in the children's media industries.
All are welcome to attend our monthly series.
