About this event

Dr. Thomas, the Calhoun Lemon Professor of Literature at Clemson University, recently published the book Call My Name, Clemson: Documenting the Black Experience in an American University (University of Iowa Press, 2020). She has been a pivotal figure in the University's work to illustrate the complex story of its past and of the individuals whose contributions and experiences have yet to be fully recognized. She will speak on the Call My Name project and local African American history.
