Lisa Robertson and Miss Kay
of A&E's Duck Dynasty
Question: What ties ducks, a dynasty and a daughter-in-law to aprons and adoption?
Answer: They’re all Tied to Life! And all five will be featured on April 26th at the Call Her Blessed luncheon benefiting the babies and birth mothers entrusted to the care of Christian Homes & Family Services’ maternity and adoption ministry. On stage in the Convention Center Conference Room will be Lisa Robertson and her mother-in-law Miss Kay from A&E’s Duck Dynasty. We’re calling the celebration, Tied to Life, and hope you will join us.
The 11th annual luncheon is a celebration of the women – mothers, grandmothers, granddaughters, aunts, BFFs, sisters and sisters-in-Christ -- who bless our lives. Proverbs 31 “Her children rise up and call her blessed… a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised,” frames the purpose of the multi-generational gathering of women in pursuit of God’s purpose.
Lisa Robertson’s testimony is uniquely relevant to our ministry of caring for young women with unplanned pregnancies. She and her husband Alan Robertson are dedicated to promoting life, strengthening marriages and teaching others how to survive life’s storms through God’s providence and guidance. Miss Kay, who is well known for her kitchen-apron-tied-to-life lessons of God’s faithfulness, will be an extra measure of blessing and deliciousness just before Mother’s Day.

The vision of Christian Homes & Family Services is a Christian home for every child.
The ministry's mission is to change lives and build Christian families through maternity, foster and adoption services.
Each year the ministry provides free maternity care for 65 to 70 women with unplanned pregnancies, and simultaneously recruits, screens and prepares Christian couples anxious to adopt. The ministry also provides family-based foster care for children who have been abused, neglected or abandoned.
