Description
Our 2nd gathering in Carmel by the Sea, for people who own Welsh Terriers, to meet and greet each other for the weekend. This is a fundraising event for WTCares a national non-profil 501 (c) that rescues and rehomes Welsh Terriers. All funds raised over the weekend goes directly to WTCares.
Hotel: Hofsas House Hotel 831-624-2745 for room reservations.
Note: The reserved block of rooms that have been set aside for us closes out on March 13, 2017. The hotel has made generous concessions for us with discounted rates and waiving the 3 night minimum that all hotels in Carmel have on the weekends. When you call, be sure to use the registration code of, “California Welsh Terriers”.
You have the option of registering for a 2 or 3 nights stay and checking in on any day. There is a 2 night minimum requirement and you will be billed according to the duration of your stay. The hotel will not waive these fees if should leave early. No exceptions.
If you make reservations and have to cancel for some reason, please contact the hotel immediately and cancel your reservation.
*At the hotel, no dogs are allowed to be left in the room alone without being in their crates.
No dogs are allowed in the pool, (Health Department Regulations) but are allowed in the pool area. All dogs must remain on leash while on hotel property at all times.
*There is an additional charge for each dog of $25.00 per night, per dog. Any damage of the room including dog accidents on the beds or tearing up carpeting, or any type of damage is the sole responsibility of the dogs owner(s) and the hotel reserves the right to charge you for cleaning the linens the dog has damaged. WTCares will not be held responsible for damage caused by your dog.
Each morning the hotel will offer a Continental Breakfast in the Conference Room we will be meeting in for the weekend from 7:30AM to 10:00AM. Dogs are welcome in the Conference Room for all activities. Please make sure your dog is walked, and has taken care of their business prior to entering the Conference Room do the the carpeting in the room.
All proceeds from Registration Fees, T-Shirts, Donations, Catered Dinner and the 2017 Calendar goes directly to WTCares.

Check in begins at 3:00PM
After checking in, please come to the Conference Room to receive you Gift Bag.
There will be a Meet & Greet in the Meeting Room at 5PM, along with a “Build A Bar" set up, that will be up all weekend. We will provide glasses, ice, and mixers. You will need to provide your choice of alcohol. Also, in the Conference Room, the Silent Auction will be set up for the weekend. Feel free to bid on any item that has a Bid Sheet in front of it anytime during the weekend.
Dinner for the evening is on your own. There will be a sign up sheet for those who want to go to dinner in a group. If not, there will be numerous flyers and maps in your Gift Bag with suggestions of local dining within walking distance that will offer discounts. After dinner, feel free to walk around or go back to the Meeting Room and view all the Silent Auction donations and bid on them. Remember this event is a fundraiser for WTCares.

We will venture down to the beach at 9:00 AM until 12:00.
Lunch is on your own or get a group of people to join in.
Today is St. Patricks Day and we will celebrate it in the Conference Room. Think green!
Be sure to sign up for catered Dinner under tickets.

11:00 AM Dog Costume Contest. We will meet at the pool and have a parade around the pool of our Welshies, in costumes, for those who want to participate. This is a lot of fun and there will be a prize for the "Winner of the Best Costume". Plan early and be creative as these contests get competitive. There will be a panal of judges to select the winner.
1:00 PM Group picture of all attendees and their dogs.
Dinner --On your own or form a group.
5:00 PM Build a Bar opens and Silent Auction bidding.
6:00 PM Silent Auction ends. Please pay for your items you won with check or cash and remove them from the tables to make room for Bingo.
7:00 PM Bingo
We will play Bingo for prizes. We will play 10 games and the cost is $10.00 for a set of 10 game sheets. Please pay that evening with Cash.
