Event description

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), on behalf of the California Strategic Highway Safety Plan Steering Committee, invites you to participate in an outreach meeting for the development of the California Strategic Highway Safety Plan 2020 – 2024 (SHSP). Working in concert with federal, tribal, State, regional, local, and private sector safety stakeholders, the SHSP will identify key safety strategies that have the greatest potential to save lives and prevent serious injuries on all California roadways. This critical effort will result in a data-driven strategic traffic safety plan to drive down fatalities and serious injuries on all California roadways.

As a valued traffic safety partner, we want to hear from you! We are looking for participation and feedback from everyone interested or involved in any of the five Es of Traffic Safety – Engineering, Equipment, Education, Enforcement and Emergency Medical Services.
