FOR THE BERKELEY FORUM ON THURSDAY OCTOBER 9 GO TO: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/california-secretary-of-state-candidate-forum-in-berkeley-registration-13170185379

Same-day voter registration. Money in politics. Accessible voting. Antiquated voting machines. Felony disenfranchisement. These are some of the issues that the next California Secretary of State will be confronting. The Secretary of State is California's chief elections officer who controls the heart of our democracy - the right to vote.

On Tuesday, May 6, 2014, the candidates for California Secretary of State will come together at a forum to present their vision for the future of California's election system. Hear directly from the candidates and learn more about this important office.

The 2014 California Secretary of State Candidate Forums are made possible with the generous support of Color of Democracy Fund.
