Description

The California Highway Patrol Valley Division Recruitment Unit will be hosting Professor Stevie Daniels from policetesttutors.com. Professor Daniels will conduct a written exam workshop for applicants and prospective applicants who will be taking the POST PelletB exam in the near future. The written exam workshop will focus on the five components (Spelling, Reading Comprehension, Clarity, Cloze and Vocabulary) of the Peace Officer Entry Level Law Enforcement Exam Test Battery (Post PELLET B).

This workshop is geared toward helping you to prepare for the rigors of the POST test. At this workshop you will -

  • Learn how to interpret your T-Score
  • Assess your current reading and writing strengths and weaknesses
  • Apply strategies to the written exam's three components: sentence clarity, spelling, and vocabulary
  • Employ proven methods to the reading exam by identifying key words, analyzing detractors, understanding inferences, and making logical deductions
  • Maximize your performance on the CLOZE test (fill in the blanks)

(This workshop is specific to applicants applying for police officer positions)

Seating is limited and the sessions always fill up, so sign up now. No walk-ins will be accepted. You will be required to have your printed Eventbrite ticket for entry.

Bring a pencil or pen and some paper to take notes.
