Event Details

On July 25th this year, Gov. Jerry Brown signed legislation to extend California’s Cap-and-Trade program to 2030, solidifying the state’s position on Global Warming and leading the way as Washington withdraws from the Paris Agreement.

Assembly Bill 398, is the only one of its kind in the country and requires companies/polluters to buy permits to release greenhouse gas emissions.

In Brown's own words: "You're here witnessing one of the key milestones in turning around this carbonized world into a decarbonized sustainable future".

Join us as our panelist, that come from different backgrounds, start the conversation on how this bill helps shape a cleaner future in California, our country and the world. And how they connect to more global initiatives such as the COP21/22 and their larger impact.
